I hope you enjoy looking at the cards I have made for this release and that I inspire you to create some yourself! All products used in my cards are listed at the end of the post.

CARD 1:

For this first card, I used the Mosaic Diamonds Background stamp Set to heat emboss a whole panel using clear embossing powder. I then used an nested oval die from my stash to cut the oval shape. I then ink blended some pale yellow ink over the panel to allow the embossed areas to remain white as the embossing resists the ink. I used this as my focal point behind pink cardstock. The flowers and leaves are from Rose Mellow Layering Stencil Set and the sentiment is from Mosaic Diamonds stamp. It was heat embossed using silver embossing powder on vellum. Some shimmer pen on the roses and a few silver pearls from my stash finish the card.

CARD 2:

The negative portion from my previously stamped and embossed panel was used as a surround for my card panel, first using moon rock dye ink to ink blend over to create more contrast and define the pattern more. The background area inside the oval window was also ink blended and as the ink is water-reactive, some splatters of water help to give a more textured effect to that area. The flower is from Build-a-Garden Nature’s Magic Set and the sentiments are from Mosaic Diamonds Background Stamp Set.

CARD 3:

I began by stamping and heat embossing in white embossing powder some floral images from Linear Life: Tropical Garden Layering Stamp Set. I used watercolour paper for this back panel as I wanted to create a soft watercolour effect. I added inks in random places then spritzed the panel with water and allowed the colours to blend, move and slowly dry. The white embossed images show up well but in a subtle way to add interest to the background. I have a hot foil machine so used this and the matching Linear Life: Tropical Garden Hot Foil plate to create the matching floral images on smooth white cardstock. I then used various dye inks with a small ink blending tool to add shading to each flower and leaf. The sentiments from the same set were heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto vellum. Some white enamel dots from the Essential Black and White enamel dot set added more texture and interest.

CARD 4:

I began by using the new Altenew scoring board (to be released later in July) to score some horizontal lines on one half of the A2 panel. I added shading of moon rock dye ink around the edges to further enhance the scoring. On the other half of the panel, I used Monsteras and Quotes Outline Stamp Set to randomly stamp with clear embossing ink and emboss with silver embossing powder. I used the matching stencil to add colour to the leaves. This set has some beautiful encouragement sentiments and I chose one to heat emboss using silver embossing powder onto grey cardstock. This was then popped up using Instant Dimension Foam Tape. A few silver pearls from my stash added the finishing touch.

CARD 5:

The Crafty Friends Add On stamp set was my inspiration for this colourful card. I felt that it would pair well with a recently released stamp set called Educators Rule. I had lots of fun creating a rainbow of pencils across the panel, adding it to a black matt layer and then stamping a sentiment using Obsidian Pigment Ink and heat setting it with clear embossing powder. I then matted it with black cardstock and fussy cut the image before adding foam tape to the back. Black enamel dots added a finishing touch and carried that graphic black element through.

CARD 6:

What a stunning and huge floral stamp image this is! It comes from the new Captivating Blooms Outline Stamp set. For a change, I used some Kraft cardstock for my panel. I stamped the image using embossing ink and heat set the image using rose gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating layering stencil set to colour the image. To give a more artsy look, I added white pigment ink splatters and black dots to the centres of the flowers using a black glaze pen from my stash. A sentiment from the stamp set was chosen, embossed with the same rose gold embossing powder and fussy cut before mounting with foam tape. The panel was then added to an A2 card base.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I hope you are inspired to create gorgeous cards with these new products. Below is the complete blog hop list for your convenience.

So many pretty cards. The one with the ink blended background with the flowers embossed in white and then more flowers partially colored in is my absolute favorite. What a great card!
