Here are my 3 cards I made using different techniques to create my backgrounds. All links to the products I have used are listed at the bottom of this post.
Card 1:
DIE CUT BACKGROUND: For my first card, I decided to use a background die to cut multiple times from a rainbow ink blendd ed A2 size panel of white cardstock. I used the Leafy Border Die to die cut the panel 3 times to create the pretty background. This was adhered to a black card base. For the sentiment, I used the Fancy Celebrate Die to cut from Gilded Glitter cardstock and adhere this to some black cardstock. I then cut around the word leaving a small border. This was then popped up using Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
Card 2:
DRY EMBOSSING WITH WATERCOLOR PAINTING: For this card, I used the Daisies 3D Embossing Folder to dry emboss an A2 black cardstock panel. I then used the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set to colour the images. The sentiments are from the Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set using black cardstock and backing it with white cardstock. Both strips are popped up with Instant Dimension Foam Tape for added dimension.
Card 3:
DRY EMBOSSING WITH INK DRAGING: For this card I again used an embossing folder, this time the Daisy Bed 3D Embossing Folder, to emboss some Altenew Navy Cardstock. I then lightly dragged a white pigment ink pad over the embossed surface to emphasise the pretty floral pattern. I used a glitter pen from my stash to add some sparkle to the flower centres. A simple sentiment was created using the Simple Greetings Die Set.
